A/Professor Leila Karimi is an accredited statistician and an experienced researcher in psychology and psychometrics. Leila is a strong research advocate for improving the quality of patient care. Her current interests are in the areas of migraine comorbidity with mental health disorders, quality of patient care, healthy community, knowledge translation, and applied health research.
She’s an Associate Fellow of the Australian College of Health Service Management (AFCHSM), an Accredited Statistician with the Statistical Society of Australia (AStat), a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS).
She is the author or co-author of more than 90 refereed journal articles and book chapters. Leila, collaboratively with research teams of her peers, has attracted more than $1,800,000 research budget, including two NHMRC projects, one ARC funded project, and several industry research contracts.
